One of our members, Prof Hala Zreiqat who is a Professor of biomedical Engineering at the University of Sydney, has established the IDEAL society network.
The IDEAL society is a global, intergenerational network started by Harvard University and The University of Sydney which aims to promote inclusion, diversity, equality, action and leadership in society, with a focus on improving opportunities and outcomes for women.
One of the society’s exciting initiatives is The Trailblazers Project. The aim of this campaign is to feature inspirational women as role models by showcasing their success in fields such as science, the arts, education, and business.
We all know amazing women in our lives and communities that are making a change and creating opportunities. Please ask them to share their stories through The Trailblazers Project, so more people can learn from them and celebrate their achievements!
