Letter to SASTA




It is the end of 2020 and the beginning of a new year. It’s a cycle. It’s like the leaves on the tree they fall and grow back but the tree is still there always. So in reality there is no end and no beginning it is a continuum like a river as all nature is.


We have come to realise through COVID-19 how connected we all are and how similar. What connects us is our shared humanity but it is also what distinguishes us apart in a beautiful way. the repeating themes like unity and diversity.


The lesson I learned is the power strength and importance of our resilience. What I mean by resilience is believing in ourselves that we have the power, strength and persistence to solve our problems and help others to be the changemakers ourselves. Otherwise, nothing will change.

Fostering curiosity asking questions, and never leaving a stone unturned are the path forward and the hallmarks of a scientist, explorers, and entrepreneurs of human

That is how we survived and thrived over a millennium

Seeing what everyone sees but thinking what no one has thought is our motto.
