Members

SASTA is focused on fostering interactions between Arab scientists and engineers in the diaspora outside the Arab World and advancing the research and academic status in the Arab World. We are a registered 501c non-profit society with the State of California and are in the process of applying for tax-exempt status with the IRS.

Members of SASTA are nominated and asked to join by invitation. 

​

They are selected based on their scientific merit and dedication to serving the Arab world in any capacity that would help the region develop and be on par with other advanced countries in science and technology.

We are currently enlarging our members' community by inviting senior Arab diaspora scientists. 

After a certain number of members is reached, there will be elections for a new board. 

Generally, the nature of SASTA’s projects is member-based.

SASTA will showcase the work you are already doing and through its network give you an opportunity to connect with like-minded people at your own pace to grow your work.
